The East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency reported that 375 samples of food products are free from hazardous chemicals after passing through a long food examination in six traditional markets in East Jakarta, Thursday (7/25).

"Of 375 samples, 202 out of them are fruit, vegetable and rice; 48 samples are chicken, meat and liver; and 125 other samples are fresh fish, salted fish and processed fish," expressed Food Security Division Head, Kantri Asri Utamai.

Foods Containing Hazardous Substances in West Jakarta Seized

Those six markets are Jambul Market, Ciracas Market, Cijantung Market, Cibubur Market, Makasar Sub-district Coaching Location (lokbin) and Kramat Jati Market.
